Description
The AD2026 is a digital panel meter designed to replace analog panel meters, and it comes in two versions: one powered by +5V DC logic and one powered from the AC line. Most of its circuitry is built into a single I2L LSI chip, the AD2020, so the DC version needs only 13 additional components and fits on one 3" x 1 5/8" PCB, while the AC version adds a second PCB holding the transformer and power supply.
Both versions have 0.56" LED displays as a standard feature, with a Red Orange lens for extra brightness or a dark red lens for applications that need less brightness and minimal backlighting. The patented case uses molded-in fingers to hold the PCB and snap into a standard panel cutout, so no mounting hardware is required. The DC version takes up less than 1" behind the panel, while the AC version needs 2 ½".
